Barbie

When I was a little girl, I dreamt of having a lot of Barbie dolls and I'd get envious of my playmates who have the Barbies I wanted. I can't remember how many Barbies I had back then but I clearly remember begging my parents to buy the Totally Hair Barbie.

Sadly, I never got one. I remember cutting the hair of my Barbie dolls and leaving them naked as a form of protest because my parents never bought them new ones.

Gosh, but I cannot deny that Barbie has taught me that you can be anyone you want and as Diane Von Furstenberg was quoted saying, "Barbie represents a confident and independent woman with an amazing ability to have fun while remaining glamorous."
